The Handmade Story
Jenny is very particular about the quality of her cookies. For years – even before she began selling her cookies to the public – she was on a quest to make the best chocolate chip cookie ever. Over and over again, she would test the different ingredients, modifying her recipe. “It’s been a lot of trial and error, and years and years of practice,” Jenny says. Later, when she started to offer additional varieties, she again imagined how various ingredients could work together. Again, she would begin to experiment with the ingredients to create a scrumptious, melt-in-your-mouth cookie to add to the list of “the cookies that never make it to the jar!”
On December 4, 2010, Jenny’s Homemade Cookies opened their doors at 6143 Bridgetown Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since then, Jenny has never looked back. She bakes individual orders, as well as large orders for corporations, restaurants, and theater groups. She has filled special orders for as many as 480 dozen cookies for a single business order, to as many as 8,000 cookies for a baseball tournament. The weekly ongoing orders keep her busy baking in the kitchen, as well as the unpredictable orders to welcome a baby home or to surprise a daughter or son away at college.

Over the years, we have expanded in so many ways ... not only in doubling our workspace, but also growing in business, product and education. We have been blessed with meeting and befriending so many wonderful people. Words cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are for each and every one of them. Thank you, thank you!
